When I do anything outdoors, it requires accommodations and/or modifications for me to participate because I am disabled and quadriplegic. Depending on where we go, or what we do… sometimes, I don’t have what I need to participate, but I still love being outside and having the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor experience with my family and friends.
I was raised in a family that loves spending time outdoors. When I was younger, I spent a lot of time boating in the summer and snow skiing adaptively in the winter. My father has worked in the outdoor industry my entire life and that is why I have also been able to spend time in a duck blind and a turkey blind. I have enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding quads and horses. I was also featured hunting on NWTF’S The Turkey Call TV show on the Outdoor Channel and in Western Outdoor News Magazine. I love participating in all kinds of outdoor related activities.
When I am not spending time outdoors, you can find me writing for Bliss Babe Magazine. Check it out at: www.blissbabe.com
That's why I am proud to be a Camo Queen, The Elegant Outdoor Woman.
