I was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up loving the outdoors.  I often strolled over to our neighbor’s farm because I loved being around the horses and the cows.  Back then, we didn’t go home until the street lights came on, or when we heard our parents shouting out our name.  Because of my wonderful outdoor experiences as a child, I have developed a love for nature.  My backyard is my haven with lots of flowers, trees and vines.  The explosion of colors are not only beautiful, but they relax me and feed my soul.  I enjoy feeding and connecting with all of God’s creatures there…  the squirrels, humming birds, blue jays, blue birds, doves, robins and many others.  Each morning, I make sure that the bird feeders and my squirrel feeder are ready for my little friends when they come by to visit.  Every day I am amazed at God’s creation and grateful for the beauty He created in this world.
